Cradlesong Blog: It's a Play-Doh Kind of Day
Posted on Monday, April 5, 2010 @ 02:10 PM by cradlesong

Play
Sophie played with Play-Doh for the first time last week. We spotted a little set that included a selection of tools and cutters when we were at the shops with the boys and thought we'd give it a go. She sat at the table in her high chair playing with it for ages. Her brothers had a go too and Alex even made a little stop motion video with the characters he built. Sophie isn't able to make proper shapes as yet, but she still enjoyed exploring the feel of it and sticking the tools in it. So much so that she sat for a good half an hour playing! Thankfully for Mummy, they must use a good bitter agent in the recipe as she did try one little taste, but soon decided it wasn't yummy and she didn't try again. As you can see from the video clip it was a wonderful, and unusual, moment of quiet and concentration.
