Cradlesong Blog: It's All Go Again!

Well following a lonely weekend without my little girl, we've had a busy week so far. We started a new class on Tuesday morning to replace Building Blocks. It is called Art 'n' Move  and has a similar structure to Building Blocks had. It's a different location so a little bit further for us, but has very easy parking. Sophie enjoyed herself, she fell asleep on the way there so was a little shell shocked to start with, but soon warmed up and relaxed. We have new welcome and goodbye songs to get familiar with, but I'm sure it won't be long before we are humming them in the car. All in all we enjoyed the first class and look forward to the rest of term.

This morning was our first swimming lesson of the term and was really enjoyable. We carried on with Brewer Swimming as we had a great time last term and wanted some consistency. I've also been trying to keep Sophie familiar we some of the things we do in swimming lessons in the bath. It's obviously not the same, but I think it has helped as she was mostly calm and seemed comfortable with the exercises. I think her mood was also helped as she had a really good sleep last night and was very relaxed this morning before we left.

I've been happy, that  despite still being uncomfortable and bruised from having my teeth removed, I've been able to get back into the swing of things for Sophie. I'm still more tired than normal, but feeling more and more myself each day.
