Cradlesong Blog: Very Important Visitors

Sophie was allowed to stay up late and go to the airport to pick up some very important visitors last night. Nanny and Grandad arrived in Sydney after a very long journey. Sophie was asleep while we waited and didn't wake up until we went to put her back in the car. As she woke she wasn't too sure what was going on as we packed the luggage and people into the car. She soon warmed up and gave lots of smiles in the car and when we got home we let her stay up a little bit and play. It was lovely  to see her playing with Nanny and Grandad. It's been over sixth months since we last saw them, but she seemed to know exactly who they were and was very comfortable playing with them. That I guess, is part of the magic of skype - it makes the world a much smaller place.
